From an affordable Lustron home to a sprawling MCM mansion in California, this week's real estate roundup has houses at all price points. One of our favorites from the week has to be all-original 1961 home in Tennessee - check out that kitchen!!

Stunning Time Capsule Home in Kingsport, TN - 2,545 sqft. ($230,000)

This one-owner 1961 home will blow you away! Check out all the original details: Ultra sleek fireplace wall, built in planters, totally private layout, large acre lot and one of the coolest kitchens we've seen. And the price? Such a deal.

Donald Sandy Home in San Rafael, CA - 2,417 sqft. ($968,000)

Wonderful 1965 post and beam design by architect Donald Sandy. Set on half an acre, this house is truly filled with light and has great views. While the kitchen has a generic updated look, it could be restored to one more fitting of the era. So much character in this design.

Amazing Split-Level Modern in Pasadena, CA - 2,429 sqft. ($1,485,000)

This 1956 home by Edward Ted Grenzbach ticks all our MCM boxes: Wide open-flowing plan, interesting spaces, great use of materials, well expressed structure and strong connection to the outdoors. Love the setting of this house under mature trees and the loft overlooking the main living/dining area is gorgeous.

Lustron Home in St. Louis, MO - 1,013 sqft. ($135,000)

Every component of Lustron kit homes arrived on a single trailer ready to be assembled and this 1950 example is still in great shape. Heat baked enamel walls, cabinets and roof can last several lifetimes. Modest but highly livable, Lustrons are getting harder to find in great condition so this one is well worth looking at.

Insanely Cool MCM Castle in La Verne, CA - 3,628 sqft. ($5,000,000)

In sharp contrast to the modest Lustron, Foster Rhodes Jackson's sprawling compound sits on a hilltop site of almost 10 acres. The sloping walls of desert concrete, light filled rooms and dramatic spaces are straight from Frank Lloyd Wright's playbook and they are architectural magic.

Bonus Listing: Architect's Home Under Threat in Atlanta, GA - 2,330 sqft. ($1,100,000)

A reader is selling this great 1958 home in Atlanta and brought it to our attention. The house is designed by the architect for themself on three beautiful acres. The home is perched on a steeply sloping lot which makes it feel like a treehouse. Check out all the glass and how it disappears into the roof with no trim. Looks pretty much all original and in good shape. Unfortunately the lot value in this high-income area puts it under threat of being destroyed.
