Every component of Lustron kit homes arrived on a single trailer ready to be assembled and this 1950 example is still in great shape. Heat baked enamel walls, cabinets and roof can last several lifetimes. Modest but highly livable, Lustrons are getting harder to find in great condition so this one is well worth looking at.

A reader is selling this great 1958 home in Atlanta and brought it to our attention. The house is designed by the architect for themself on three beautiful acres. The home is perched on a steeply sloping lot which makes it feel like a treehouse. Check out all the glass and how it disappears into the roof with no trim. Looks pretty much all original and in good shape. Unfortunately the lot value in this high-income area puts it under threat of being destroyed.
