Vintage mid century modern Japanese floor chairs made by Tendo Mokko in Japan. Probably designed by Mitsumasa Sugasawa as the frames borrow the laminated oak forms with inset mahogany pieces that his Heron chair is famous for. These chairs have been newly reupholstered in an exellent Japanese-inspired fabric with new foam providing an excellent seat. Stylish and comfortable chairs. Original Tendo Mokko labels underneath. Sold and priced as a pair.
