Vintage Rosewood and leather lounge and ottoman designed by Charles and Ray Eames for Herman Miller in the 1959. This 1960s version has a great patina, beautifully grained rosewood and the Black Herman Miller medallion underneath. This chair is categorized as a second edition example based on its 2 screw armrest connection, label type, cushion hooks, rubber back mounts and 5 ply build. Age typical wear to the leather with a few scratches on the arms and seat back cushion. The seat cushions appear to have been refilled at some stage and have lost their grommet connectors to the hooks on the chairs. The snaps to fasten the cushions are still present and functioning however. A great chair for a collector.
