Rolf Rastad and Adolf Relling 'Bambi' armchairs for Gustav Bahus in Norway in the 1950s. Featuring a sinuously sculpted afrormosia Teak frame with intricately hand woven cane seat and back, these are works of art. They are also very comfortable and sturdy. Freshly rewoven cane provides continued use for many years to come. The chairs are in vey good restored shape with occasional wear around the back corners where they were previously upholstered but you really have to be looking for them to see them. The cane is beautiful and draws the eye in to appreciate the fantastic shape of the frame. Sold and priced as a set of three.
