Mid century modern Walnut base marble top coffee table designed by Mel Abitz for Galloway's of Tampa in the early 1960s. See the original advert for Galloways in the final photo. Featuring a beautiful scalloped and arched walnut base and a 1" thick solid marble top from Portugal, this is a stylish vintage coffee table. The base has been restored/refinished and th walnut is gorgeous. The marble top has some very nice veining and complements the reddy brown tones of the base. The top shows age typical wear to the edges and there are a few rough areas with dings on the top.
