Solid walnut frame lounge chair designed by Mel Abitz for Galloway's of Tampa in the early 1960s. One of many dynamic mid century modern designs conceived by Mel Abitz, lead designer for Galloway's Furniture of the Tampa Bay area. Bold arms and with strong support from the rear stretcher, the root of the Outrigger name. Freshly upholstered in a pale yellow that contrasts beautifully with the warm walnut frame. Excellent condition and very comfortable.
