Beautiful Danish modern footstool designed by Aksel Bender Madsen and Ejner Larsen, made by Ludwig Pontopiddian. Solid rosewood frame with nice joinery detail such as through tennons on the stretchers and splined miters on the leg corners. Rosewood has a rich dark brown/red/purple hue. Best used as a footstool, not as a sitting stool. New leather sling and canvas support layer.
