Pair of iconic Penguin Lounge chairs designed by Kofod Larsen and distributed by Selig in the early 1950s. The distinctive bent plwood back with teak veneer earned this chair the Penguin moniker when it first debuted in the USA around 1952. Paired with a minimalist iron frame and simple heart shaped seat, the chair was a huge success and lead to Larsen becoming Selig's main designer. Back has been freshly refinished and seat recovered in a beautiful Kvadrat wook and new foam making it extremely comfortable.
