Extra long credenza and desk version of George Nelson's iconic Executive Office Group line for Herman Miller in the 1950s. Classic high contrast blue-black doors on a walnut case with chrome slides and aluminum pulls. Behond the sliding doors the credenza features a stack of three standard drawers, two shallow stationery drawers and a pair of hanging file drawers.  A trapdoor for waste paper on the top of the credenza is accessed via a push-latch compartment below. The end of the credenza is additional deep storage. The beautiful desktop set perpendicularly is ample and includes a stack of three drawers. This set has been refinished to restore the gorgeous walnut woodgrain. It shows some light marking from its past history but shows very well. The paint on the doors shows some losses but we have opted to retain the original for that vintage look. Desk comes apart easily into three peices with two riser blocks. George Nelson medallion present in first drawer of credenza and signed Herman Miller pull on top desk pedestal drawer.
