Rare early desk design by George Nelson for his first collection for Herman Miller in 1946. Featuring a floating hutch with sliding doors housing cubbies and a stationary tray, a large leatherette covered desktop and an ingenius flip top compartment for a typewriter and a pullout Pendeflex file holder. Excellent look and lines that still looks incredibly modern. Wood surfaces are in good condition with age typical wear. Desktop and doors have been recovered in a gorgeous ivory leatherette.
