Uncommon Typewriter desk model 743 designed by George Nelson and Associates for Herman Miller's iconic Executive Office Group in the 1950s. Designed to fit underneath a standard EOG desk or to be a standalone desk specifically for typewriter use as it is slightly lower than standard. The cabinet is in very good condition having been lightly refinished. It has walnut a case and straight grain teak drawer fronts and the original chrome pulls with stamped Herman Miller logo on both. High contrast white Micarta / Formica top shows age typical wear but is in good shape. Satin chrome H legs are newly polished and look great.
