Superb Walnut L desk and credenza from George Nelson's classic Executive Office Group (EOG) designed for Herman Miller in the 1960s. The tall credenza was also known as a work station as its height provided some privacy. Featuring an impressive double height credenza, ample desk top and endless storage options, this is a total workstation. The credenza has (from left) wastepaper bin compartment; pull out typewriter tray with power supply, two standard drawers; push to open workspace extender, standard drawer, file drawer; push to open workspace extender and large storage compartment which also includes key access to lock the entire third section (original keys included!). The open area above is divided neatly into file and sorting sections. The original lighting on the top edge is still in working order and looks amazing. Below the desk surface is a two drawer pedestal, the top being standard and the lower being hanging file.
 
This set is in overall very good condition with only a few minor imperfections - occasional small vener repairs and subtle dark circles where a glass top sat. (Glass top is available if required). A walnut modesty panel that hangs in front of the seating space is also included.
