Rare 1950s design by Florence Knoll for Knoll Associates' Planning Unit combining a steelframe single pedestal desk with a very functional secretary desk and filing pedestal. Showcasing Florence Knoll's inimitable merging of minimalist style and practicality, this L desk provides ample workspace and storage options. The White microgrid formica top is in great condition and adds a real designer's touch to the piece. The gorgeous walnut panels contrast wonderfully and the white file dividers offset the oak interiors with style. Occasional edge wear and very minor marking to the top but otherwise shows extremely well. Solid as a rock, the main desk can be used on its own if desired. Both pieces have Knoll Associates labels and the original key for the right pedestal is present and working.
