Early 1950s blanket chest designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller. Can be used as a standalone coffee table, blankets chest or in the corner between an L shape sofa.  Featuring a walnut clad box, White formica top which opens up to reveal a birch interior of multiple storage spaces including a sliding drawer box. We modified the cabinet to integrate a birch drawer that slides from front to back. Early silver paper Herman Miller label inside.
