Early rosewood version of Arne Jacobsen's strikingly modern coffee/cocktail table design for Fritz Hansen. With its knife edge rosewood top and sleek satin chrome legs this table epitomizes Jacobsen's aesthetic. Gorgeous rosewood top has been lightly refinished to accentuate the grain. Top does show several scratches from its previous lives but we feel the grain easily distracts from those. Legs have been newly cleaned and show only occasional wear. Base includes Fritz Hansen stamp and production date of 1952. A rare piece with plenty of life left!
